Men's Mental Health
At the Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention (RCSP), we recognize the unique challenges men face when it comes to mental health and well-being. Our Men’s Mental Health Programs are designed to break down barriers, foster meaningful connections, and create safe spaces where men can seek support, share experiences, and build resilience.
The Men’s Shed Grande Prairie is part of an international, grassroots, member-driven Men’s Shed movement. Men’s Shed provides a welcoming space where men of all ages can come together to share skills, engage in hands-on projects, and foster friendships. Whether you’re looking to learn something new or enjoy some good company, Men’s Shed is the perfect place to connect.
Men’s Talk is intended for individuals who would like to attend a structured support group with a therapeutic focus. This group aims to provide professional insight and responses to the particular needs of the group each week.
Men’s Support Group provides an opportunity for men to talk about their lives with their peers. You are able to show up and listen or share as much as you are comfortable. The group is led by a male facilitator with years of experience in supporting men with their mental health.
Some topics include (but not limited to) loneliness, relationship break-up, divorce, financial loss, death of a loved one, or job loss.
